Jean Prouve Architecture Poster

Jean Prouve was a French architect who specialized in creating furniture, specifically chairs and tables. This poster was designed for an event highlighting Prouve, creating a bold composition that sets his tone and style while still effectively communicating the information laid out. Included colors are red, brown, and black to illustrate Prouve's architectural style, as many of his pieces follow this same color scheme. Pulling inspiration from the table leg of his Gueridon Dining Table, the shape and angle of the table served as the perfect focal point for the poster, drawing people in to the rest of the form and the additional text. I also used various shapes to morph into each other, drawing people in to the rest of the form and the additional text. different color blocks to make a smooth transition from one element to another.
