Georgia Typeface Informational Poster

Georgia was created by Matthew Carter in 1993, specifically to provide clarity to type on low-resolution computer monitors. To illustrate the origins of this typeface, symbols taken from the font family were used to create the grooves of the motherboard of a computer, symbolizing the original use of the typeface and bleeding off the edges to create an illusion of a never-ending electrical trail. This was paired with a linear element created with Georgia alphabet, vertically moving upwards as it’s anchored to the text to mimic binary code and its movements.
